We travelled from Gurugram to New Delhi and took the Shatabdi Express to Kalkaji. From Kalkaji, we took took the \"toy train\" to Shimla. As the train gained elevation the change from humidity to fresh cooler air was welcome

We saw some memorable sights- Lawrence School, Kushwant Singh's home...

On Sunday, we returned to Chandigarh by Taxi (via Solan)

The short trip was well worth it. It was just the break we needed.
